Maharaja Express (8 Days/ 7 Nights)

Welcome aboard the Maharajas' Express.

This evening, assemble at Safdarjung Station at 2030 hrs and complete your registration and check in formalities for the Maharajas' Express. On arrival, you will be greeted with a welcome drink on board the Maharajas' Express. The Maharajas' Express departs Delhi at approximately 2200 hrs to Agra.

Dinner at hotel. Overnight on the Maharajas' Express

Day 02 / Sunday :- Agra - Sawai Madhopur

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board as you journey through the picturesque countryside, arriving into the ‘City of Mughal Splendour’ Agra. Following your participation in any of the optional tours return to the train for lunch.

Following lunch, disembark and explore the spectacular monuments of the city. Visit the world famous Taj Mahal, A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this incomparable marvel is constructed entirely out of white marble and is an architectural masterpiece with beautiful inlay work and marble screens.

The highlight of the afternoon is high tea atop the Taj Khema. Enjoy a glass of champagne as you admire the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunset. Return to the comfort of the train and continue your journey to Ranthambore National Park. Dinner on board.Overnight on the Maharajas’ Express.

Day 03 / Monday :- Sawai Madhopur - Jaipur

On arrival in Sawai Madhopur, early in the morning, get ready for an exciting safari to the 'Ranthambore National Park'. After breakfast at Taj Sawai Madhopur Lodge, return to the train to relax and unwind as your journey continues to Jaipur. Enjoy a hearty lunch on board. Following arrival begin your exciting tour of the pink city with an opportunity to shop for some of the finest jewellery, textiles and blue pottery.

Complete the exciting day in the evening with a unique and enthralling experience – an Exhibition Elephant Polo Match. Following dinner, return to the station and board the train for your onward journey.

Day 04 / Tuesday :- Bikaner

Arrive in the city while you enjoy a leisurely breakfast aboard the train. Commence your late morning sightseeing trip across Bikaner city and visit the Lalgarh Palace and Museum.

Embark on an excursion to the Karni Mata temple popularly also known as the Deshnok temple. Return to the train for a lavish lunch.

Post lunch; enjoy visiting the Junagarh fort as well as an excursion across the rural landscape. Do miss to feast on a thrilling camel safari around the undulating sand dunes. Savor the traditional performances of the Kalbeliyas and Langaas over refreshing sips of champagne and a barbeque evening. Overnight stay aboard the train.

Day 05 / Wednesday :- Jodhpur

After an unhurried breakfast, go on a jeep safari across the Bishnoi village. Return to train for Lunch. Post-lunch enjoy an expedition across Jodhpur and specifically the Mehrangarh Fort.

Take delight in a royal cocktail eveing within the premises of the Mehrangarh Fort. Later return to train for overnight stay. Return to the train and continue your journey to picturesque Udaipur.

Day 06 / Thursday :- Udaipur

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on local sightseeing trails across the majestic Udaipur. Visit the attractions housed within the City Palace such as Mor Chowk, Chini Mahal, and Zenana Mahal etc.

Enjoy lunch in the Durbar hall. Post lunch either you can relax in the spa of a palace hotel or take a walking trail across the old markets of Udaipur.

Day 07 / Friday Vadodara

Arrive in Vadodara, the land of magnificent palaces. Start your sojourn across the city by visiting the picturesque location of Jambhughoda. Later, enjoy a lavish lunch at Jambughoda Palace in the company of royal family members
Post-lunch enjoy an excursion to Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, which is a World Heritage Site.

Later arrive in the city of Vadodara and visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum and relish on high tea and evening snacks at Laxmi Vilas Palace. Dinner and overnight stay onboard the train

Day 08 / Saturday Disembark in Mumbai

On reaching Mumbai in the morning of the 7th day, bid adieu to the majestic Royal India sojourn onboard the Maharajas’ Express.
