Day 01 - Arrive Delhi Arrive Delhi. Arrival transfer to hotel and assistance for check-in will be provided. Overnight at hotel. Day 02 - Delhi After breakfast explore New Delhi where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Full day sightseeing covering India Gate, Red Fort, Lotus Bahai Temple, Qutab Minar. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 03 - Delhi - Agra After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Agra. Arrive Agra and check-in into hotel . Later visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At sunset visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 04 - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur - Jaipur After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary - one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world. You will enjoy a Rickshaw ride inside the Sanctuary for Bird Watching. Arrive Jaipur and check-in into hotel . Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 05 - Jaipur After breakfast. Proceed for full day sightseeing of Jaipur .Visit Amer Fort - The highlight of the fort is the Seesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Ascend on elephant back to go up the hill on which the fort is situated , Hawa Mahal ( Palace of Winds),The City Palace , Jantar Mantar( the ancient astronomical observatory). In the evening enjoy a THEME DINNER at a Rajasthani Ethnic Village Resort where you can savour the taste of RAJASTHANI CUISINE with Folk Dances. Other attractions are camel rides, puppet show, magician, fortune teller and village crafts. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner) |
Day 06 - Jaipur (Elephant Festival) After breakfast enjoy Elephant festival. The Elephant Festival is an inimitable event held annually in Jaipur. Staged at Chaugan Stadium, Jaipur, elephants put up a variety of programs and the arena is brought alive with musicians and dancers. The festival starts with an impressive procession of the majestic animals lovingly painted and tastefully attired with glittering ornaments and embroidered velvets. It seems to be all about colors, be they the decked up elephants, dancers in colourful attires or the big colorful turbans (head gears) of the local Rajasthani men. Finally, some lucky tourists are invited to mount the elephants and play Holi. Participants dance with great vigour and the excitement rises to a crescendo. Performances of Dhaph and Gair dance are held to display the vibrancy and lively mood of Holi. The finale has the dazzling display of fireworks. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 07 - Jaipur
After brekfast, enjoy the festival of colors "Holi". Holi festival has an ancient origin and celebrates the triumph of 'good' over 'bad'. The colorful festival bridges the social gap and renew sweet relationships. People rub gulal (colored powder) on each others' faces. Day 8 - Jaipur - Delhi (Departure) After breakfast, drive to Delhi. A car with driver will be at your disposal untill Departure transfer to International airport. |
