| Day 01 - Arrive Chennai On
arrival, transfer to hotel Taj Fisherman’s Cove. Once an impressive
Dutch Fort, it is now one of the finest beach resorts in Southern
India with 88 luxury cottages and comfortably appointed rooms.
Overnight at hotel. Day 02 - Mahabalipuram After breakfast, an excursion to visit Kanchipuram, famous as a city of 1000 Temples and 124 shrines. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks. In the afternoon visit Seven pagodas Temples. Each of these Pagodas has been carved out of a single block of stone. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 03 - Mahabalipuram After breakfast rest of the day free to explore Mahabalipuram. Overnight at hotel.(Breakfast) Day 04 - Mahabalipuram - Trivandrum - Kovalam After an early breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to airport to catch flight to Trivandrum. Then take a short drive to Kovalam which is one of the loveliest beaches in the world. After arrival you will check-in into Taj Green Cove Resort. With its exotic tropical beauty and relaxing hospitality, this getaway is the perfect place to enjoy relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind, body, and soul. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 05 - Kovalam - Pandmanabhapuram - Kanyakumari - Kovalam After breakfast we take you to full day excursions to nearby places. First of all drive to PADMANABHAPURAM to see the beautiful Palace of the erstwhile kings of Travancore. From here you will reach KANYAKUMARI, India's lands end which is a confluence of three oceans, well in time to see the sun setting into the sea. Leave Kanyakumari by dusk and back to Kovalam. Overnight at resort. (Breakfast) Day 06 - Kovalam - KumarakomAfter breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom which is a beautiful, tropical location clustered around the remarkable Vembanad Lake. On arrival check-in into The Zuri Kumarakom, set in 18 verdant acres on the shores of the lake. |
Day 07 - Kumarakom (Houseboat) After breakfast board a houseboat for a cruise through the backwaters of Kerala. Houseboat day cruise in kerala backwaters is memorable with the gorgeous view of canal systems and endless lagoons , Paddy fields, rivers joining the backwater, small village houses. Enjoy your dinner at Kumarakom Lake Resort, and provides a large waterfront. Enjoy hot & delicious dinner by lakeside. Overnight at resort. (Breakfast) Day
08 - Kumarakom - Munnar Day 09 - Munnar After breakfast rest of the day free to explore Munnar. Car and driver will be at your disposal. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 10 - Munnar - Cochin After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Cochin - commercial capital of Kerala. You will check-in into The Malabar House which is part of Fort Cochin's historical fabric. Its recorded history dates back to 1755. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Cochin on your own and go shopping for spices, handicrafts and antiques. This evening enjoy the Kathakali Dance Show. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 11 - Cochin - Bangalore (Departure) After breakfast full day city sightseeing of Cochin or "Kochi"- the palm green, commercial capital of Kerala is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace & the famous Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon, Harbour cruise - Cochin has one of the finest natural harbours. Departure transfer to International airport to catch flight back to home. (Breakfast) |
