Ladakh lies in the Trans Himalayan
region of India, the most spectacular and impressive
range of the world which is becoming the most visited
adventure zone of the world. Ladakh is a cold desert
lying in the rain shadow of the Great Himalayas and
other smaller ranges. Little rain and snow reaches this
dry area, where natural forces have created a fantastic
landscape. Paradise Journey also reaches Nepal, draped
along the greatest heights of the Himalaya, Nepal is
where the ice-cold of the mountains meets the steamy
heat of the Indian plains. It's a land of yaks and
yetis, stupas and Sherpas and some of the best trekking

| Day
01 - Arrive Delhi
On arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 02 - Delhi - Srinagar After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to airport to catch flight to Srinagar. On arrival you will be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name on it at the exit. Arrival transfer to Deluxe Houseboats. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Dinner overnight in Houseboats. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 03 - Srinagar After breakfast an excursion to the Mughal Gardens built by emperor jehangir. Also visit to the Shalimar Bagh & Nishat Bagh other beautiful gardens located on the eastern side of the Dal Lake. Overnight in the houseboat. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 04 - Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar After breakfast you will proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, meadow of flowers (56 kms /2 hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, full day at leisure to take the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. Enjoy Pony Ride or Gondola Ride (rope way) to khillanmarg at your own cost, overnight in the houseboat. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 05 - Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar After an early breakfast full day excursion to Pahalgam. ( 196 kms) 05 - 06 hrs drive . In the late afternoon come back to Srinagar. Overnight houseboat. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 06 - Srinagar - Kargil After breakfast disembark and drive to Kargil. The main overland approach to ladakh is from the kashmir valley through the 434-km srinagar-leh highway, which follows the historic trade route, also known as the 'treaty road'. It generally remains open for traffic from early june to mid-november. This road journey provides the best possible introduction to the land and its people. At one step, as you cross the zoji-la pass (11,500-ft./3,505 m), one passes the lushness of kashmir into the barren contours of a trans-himalayan landscape. Arrive Kargil and check-in into hotel Siachen. Overnight hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 07 - Kargil - Leh After
breakfast check-out from the hotel and leaving Kargil Town, the road
plunges into the ridges and valleys of the zanskar range, form here
it descends to the pashkyum area and passes through several roadside
villages before entering mulbek, with its gigantic rock carving of
maitreya buddha and a gompa. |
Day
08 - Leh
After breakfast a gentle orientation walk of the town & shanti stupa planned and rest of the day is free to relax and acclimatize to the altitude (3,500m). Overnight hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 09 - Leh After breakfast sightseeing trip which is organized to the major Gompas in the vicinity of Leh, which cannot easily be reached on foot- Shey & Thiksey. We first visit Shey. Most of the palace is in ruins now but in the gompa there is a 350 year old two storied buddha statue. Thiksey, a large yellow hat monestry perched on a hill commanding a magnificent view of the Indus valley-a new temple here contains a 15 meter Buddha statue, constructed in 1970 to commemorate a visit to thiksey by the dalai lama. In the late afternoon come back to Leh. Overnight hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner) Day
10- Leh - Delhi - Kathmandu Day 11 - Kathmandu After
an early breakfast full day city tour visit The Pashupatinath
Temple. Also visit Swayambhunath, which is believed to be 25
centuries old and stands as one of the world's oldest Buddhist
Chaityas (Stups). It is indeed listed as a World Heritage Site to
prove that it serves as the nerve center of faithful worship for all
the devout Buddhist of the universe. After that visit Mahadev
Parvati Temple. Day 12 - Kathmandu After breakfast we have arrange one hour Mountain Flight - Everest Scenic flight is the best flight to see the Everest region by flight. This scenic flight will be for one hour. Later on an excursion to The ancient city of Patan, lying 5 Kms southeast of Kathmandu, is known as the city of fine arts. In the late afternoon come back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel. Day
13 - Nagarkot - Kathmandu - Delhi Day 14 - Delhi (Departure) After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi which is India's bustling capital city. Visit India Gate, Lotus temple, Qutab Minar. Car and driver will be at your disposal until departure transfer to airport to catch flight for onward journey. (Breakfast) |
