landlocked in the eastern Himalayas. A pristine
landscape with dramatic backdrops of snow clad Himalayan
peaks in the north, rivers flow south into the Indian
plains and tropical forests abound in the southern
regions. This tour also takes you to Sikkim, abode of
nature. The snow covered mountains & lush green valleys
not only invigorates one's soul, it also leaves the
spectators bewildered by the extravaganza of its natural

Day 02 - Delhi - Paro - Thimphu Day 03 - Thimphu After breakfast visit Bhutan's only golf course, a nine-hole circuit, situated next to the magnificent Tashichoo Dzong. Visit Zorig Chusum Institute, Hand made paper factory: 'Jungshi' and Tashichho Dzong: the "fortress of the glorious religion". In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang View Point, the perfect place to take in some truly breathtaking views of the entire city of Thimphu. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 04 - Thimphu - Punakha After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Punakha. In Punakha, Visit weekend market, Chorten and Folk heritage museum: founded by her majesty the queen, the museum is one of a kind that portrays the lifestyle of a genteel family in the Thimphu valley in the olden days.Later visit, handicraft emporium and Mini zoo. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 05 - Punakha - Paro After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Paro. This beautiful valley is home to many bhutan's oldest monasteries and temples. The valley is also home to Mount Chomolhari (7,300 meters) situated at the northern end of the valley whose glacier water forms the pachu flowing through the valley. After check-in visit Kham Sum Yule Lahkahang, Punakha Dzong, the second oldest dzong in Bhutan, it was begun in 1637 also on the order of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Overnight at resort. (Breakfast) Day 06 - ParoAfter breakfast visit Drugyel Dzong which still attracts visitors due to the strategic location of the fort. The fort defended the Paro valley from the Tibetan invasion from the north in the early 17th century. Then visit Taktshang monastery, generally regarded as bhutan's most recognizable cultural icon, the taktshang monastery, or tiger's nest, is strikingly iconic of the country's culture and traditions. Overnight at resort. (Breakfast) Day 07 - Paro - Phuntsholing After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Phuntsholing which is the most famous gateway to Bhutan from India. It is located on the southwest corner of Bhutan on the Indian border (along the Torsa River). On arrival check-in into hotel . Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) |
Day 08 - Phuntsholing - Gangtok After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Gangtok. On arrival check-in into hotel. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 09 - Gangtok After breakfast full day free to explore Gangtok which is a beautiful hilly town, which spreads down the western side of a long ridge flanking the Ranipul River, and houses some of the most important Buddhist religious sites in India. The entire Kanchenjunga range is visible from the town and locals worship the range as a deity. Gangtok is also famed for its wonderful orchids and every spring, an orchid festival and flower show is held to celebrate this exotic bloom. The Kanchendzonga, considered to be Sikkim’s guardian, is visible from many parts of the town. Gangtok offers every traveler a unique traveling experience. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 10 - Gangtok - Kalimpong After
breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Kalimpong, "The
Stockade of the King's Minister" was once a bustling town on the
trade route to Tibet. At an altitude of 1250m, it enjoys the best
climate in the region and is a favorite haunt of those in search of
peace and serenity. Day 11 - Kalimpong After breakfast full day explore Kalimpong. Covering Durpin Dara which is an observatory point, 3 km away from the main town from where one can relish the wonderful view of the town, rivers, mountains and the plains of Siliguri. Then visit Zong Dog Parli Fo-Brang Monastery. Also visit Raja Dorjee Market. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 12 - Kalimpong - Darjeeling After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling. Arrive Darjeeling and check-in into hotel. After check-in rest of the day free to relax at your hotel. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast) Day 13 - Darjeeling Breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure. Darjeeling is the Queen of India's hill stations. Its setting is one of incomparable beauty. A Victorian town of old world charm 'discovered' by the British, it is almost completely surrounded by fragrant tea gardens which seem to flow over the layered slopes like emerald swells on a rough sea.Overnight at hotel.
